Another older track from around 2004 that didn't make the cut for the debut album. The new 2023 version required a complete beat remake due to corrupted source files. Although it's generally quite true and familiar to the original, the new bass, strings and production elements, along with a brand new melody in the chorus lyrics, create a familiar but different vibe from the OG. The rap verses are still original recordings from 2004, minus one single line that was SUPER cringe that was re-recorded to save embarassment.

But who cares, right?

King Dylan does... Which is also why the new chorus went through a number of attempted rewrites, only to land back on the first re-record... which has the same words as the 2004 version, just sang differently.
I can't remember too much about the creation of this song, although MC Mossberg did re-record his verse like a week or two later (back in 2004) to give a stronger performance. The irony of this song is that it didn't "inspire" us enough to include it on our debut, but maybe we were going for a specific theme at the time... Which wasn't this. Or maybe it was that one cringey line that prevented it from moving forward. Yeah, that's it.
